A love affair with reading
Well, that was like the major bummer of the day! :--) But as you say, way important! Thanks for helping to promulgate it.
Thanks for sharing! We don't get the channel, but hopefully it will be popular enough to play on other channels...
This message is so important, and I thank you for sharing this video with us. It makes me scared for my kids!!
rhapsody - Haha, I know! But more and more recently, I've begun to realize how the odds really are stacked against women, at least in the US. We are not considered a minority, and we often don't band together, and so we let people take the power away from us.Kailana - I don't think I get that channel, either, but the movie also plays in select theaters, so maybe you can get to one!Zibilee - Maybe your daughter will be a Congresswoman one day :-)
Thanks so much for sharing this! This is the status quo in a lot of countries. All those unreal women parading about and giving an impression that your body is your asset, it's sick. I don't have an issue with women embracing their sexuality, in fact i love it, but what we see on tv isn't the way to do it, and that needs to be clear to the kids.
I like the format they've used; it manages to be both realistic and inspiring. Thanks for posting the link.
This is brilliant and I hope they release it on DVD. Would love to show it to our middle school.
I read every comment posted on this blog, even if it sometimes takes me a while to respond. Thank you for taking the time and effort to comment here! Unless you are spamming me, in which case, thanks for nothing.
