I really appreciate your coming over from the GoodReads site- I know there are a ton of blogs on the list, so I am honored you came here.

I have never read Mrityunjaya- actually, I've never heard of it. I will definitely look into it, though! It sounds right up my alley.Aartihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02354873119188597611noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7343567357202223317.post-32641105173271112122012-05-13T17:39:01.245-05:002012-05-13T17:39:01.245-05:00Hi Aarti! Your reviews are a delight to read and extremely honest. While on the topic of Mahabharata, I was wondering if you have had a chance to read Mrityunjaya by Shivaji Sawant. I recently did and absolutely loved it, despite the not so good English translation! Your post on Ramesh Menon's version and the coincidence that my friend is currently reading this book, made me buy Volume 1 and I am excited to see you rated it that highly. I look forward to reading it. :)Pallavihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12392400324767163561noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7343567357202223317.post-8525699506771742092009-09-22T16:24:32.020-05:002009-09-22T16:24:32.020-05:00Wonderful! The book is basically a fictional treatment of the most pertinent parts of the Mahabharata, and it was quite good, if you haven't already read it. I am going to see if I can grab a copy of the Mahabharata soon, but I will keep in mind that the first section is better than the last. Thanks for the great review, and glad you are back!Zibileehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05857638467064749190noreply@blogger.com
